I met Scott back in July during our little league summer coverage. Scott passed away on October 5. I just ran across his photo and looked up his name in the archives fearing that I might find his obituary. And there is was. I lingered at this assignment a lot longer than I should have been out. And I didn't make a great picture. But this mas was so incredible. He had so much heart and life. We sat in his baseball memorabilia room for a while talking about his life and his love of baseball. It was obvious this man was loved so much by so many in the community. Makes my heart sink knowing that he's no longer a part of our city. Scott, you made my day that afternoon in July. And I won't ever forget that.
