i've forgotten my camera all day. i've left homes without it... wishing i had brought it with me rather then leaving it safe and tucked away with the rest of my belongings.

i think it was a good thing. i found, met, and got to know more people tonight then i would have ever gotten to know if i had my camera. so, maybe that was a good thing. definitely a good thing. had a lot of interesting conversations with people at a house party... a jon house party. i have yet to meet many portland natives. there's a lot of transplants up here. met a guy at soul night who lives a block away from me back home in SF. funny how things like that happen.

...in Portland!!! Been here not even 24 hours and we've already had a water balloon fight, got my thumb severely burned by a sparkler, ate 7 dollar steaks at a strip club, drank too much Pabst, played with Sol's new iPHONE!!!!! (highlight of the trip for sure) and saw Matt Eich -- Mr. CPOY himself -- get pseuduo-molested by a stripper (who wants to go to grad school for neurological studies).

As always, too much fun in PDX. Pictures to come.. sometime...

Also, Motoya Nakamura is the funniest guy ever.
